You may contact me by email any time. I check my email every day and will usually reply to you within 24 hours. I ship using the United States Postal Service.  Mail in the US and Canada is usually reliable and usually gets there in good shape.  That said, I cannot control what happens to your package after it enters the USPS system and is delivered to your mailbox.  After your package leaves my hands, I can not maintain responsibility for it and will only issue a refund if the merchandise is returned in the same condition that it left here.  You may choose to purchase insurance at checkout.

Shipping within the United States
I ship to any location in the United States and Military APO/FPO via the United States Postal Service.  Shipping choices and rates from "first-class parcel post" to "express mail" are shown in your shopping cart during checkout and are based on total item weight in ounces plus Delivery Confirmation fee.*  You may choose to add insurance or upgrade your shipping method.

Shipping to Canada
Shipping to Canada is sent express mail if you want to insure your package - "express flat-rate" is $25.95.*  Shipping to Canada by "priority mail" cannot be insured - "priority flat-rate is $10.95.*  See additional information in section "Outside the United States".

Shipping Outside the United States
Shipments are normally sent by express mail international - $27.95.*  Express mail is required if you wish to add insurance.  Shipping by priority flat-rate box is available for $12.95*, but insurance cannot be added to that option. 

Whether or not I can ship a package to you depends on your country's custom regulations.  You will be more familiar with your country's customs regulations than I will.  All items shipped out of the United States are subject to customs inspection in the country they are being shipped to.  I cannot be responsible if your item does not pass through customs.  I will only issue a refund if the merchandise is returned to me.  Assessment of duties, taxes (including VAT), and administrative fees (covering the costs of clearing the item through customs) is done in accordance with that country's laws.  Customs duties, taxes, and administrative fees are collected from the recipient.  These fees are not included in any prices I quote or any payments remitted to me.  All prices quoted by me are in US dollars.

Countries I believe I can ship to include Canada, Great Britain, most of the European Union (exceptions include Greece & Portugal), Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.  Many of these countries regulations say they require shipment by insured parcel post.

Places I cannot ship to (items are prohibited per the customs information) include Mexico, South America and Africa.

* Rates are subject to change by the US Postal Service.

Purchases for in stock items will be shipped within five (5) days after receipt of payment. Custom orders items will be shipped within 5 - 10 days of receipt of payment unless you are notified of special circumstances (ie. availability of beads and other materials). Items will be shipped Monday through Friday, no shipping over the weekend.

MO Sales Tax
Please Note: Sales tax of 6.475% is charged on purchases shipped to addresses in the state of Missouri.

• Credit Cards - pay with your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express credit card through my secure shopping cart. All credit card transactions are secure and guaranteed by Thawte. Transactions will appear on your statement as orders @ kcbeaddesigns.com.

• PayPal (pay using credit card or eCheck). Using PayPal is free for you and signing up for a PayPal account is optional for new buyers. PayPal also offers a buyer’s protection plan. (You can read about their policy and plans on their website www.paypal.com/us). Make PayPal payments to cskeens51@hotmail.com.

I do not accept personal checks.

Your credit card transaction is processed on a secure server, verified daily by Thawte.  The yellow lock will appear during the checkout process when you select your payment method.

I will not use the information you give to us in any way except to complete and ship your purchase. Information gathered from and about our customers is used strictly to conduct the business of KC Bead Designs - Beaded Jewelry by Cheryl Skeens.
